Breakfast Buffet
8:00 AM to 11:00 AM
A buffet spread by the river as the mist lifts: hot parathas, eggs to order and chai brewed slow under the thatch.
Open-Air Sit-Down Dining
An open-air, riverside Gazebo Near Satpura Tiger Reserve: thatched in dry sal grass, ringed by mahua and sal trees, and tucked between the cottages and the Denwa river bank with the water running quietly just out of sight. By day, sunlight filters through the rafters and parrots argue overhead; by dusk, the hurricane lanterns come on one by one and the soundtrack softens to birdsong fading into cicadas, the crackle of the seekh grill, and the clink of a glass somewhere down the long teak table.
The kitchen leans Mughlai and Arabic, cooked slow and unhurried: biryanis sealed and pulled off the dum in clay handis, smoky kebabs straight from the live grill, mezze plates with house-churned hummus and labneh, fresh breads pulled hot from the tandoor, and slow-cooked Indian classics built for long afternoons. The bar opens with every sitting. This is the table guests reserve for the meal that drifts: a buffet breakfast into a lazy lunch into high tea into a lantern-lit dinner.
When We're Open
